Snowman was out for some laps on many of the open runs this morning.

What I found was a lot of very firm groomed snow, it was also still cold out there as well.

Taking a look around the hill this is the top of chair 5 and Solitude. The snow in here is still very firm, but should loosen up with some more grooming and warming temperatures during the day.

Lower Solitude was a bit softer, but you need to watch for floating rocks on your left as you ride down. Best part of this run was the soft snow near the snow making guns.

The Face of Five has a couple lines you can pick your way thru, but I would not recommend you try the face at this time.

Saddle bowl off the back of chair 3 has some great groomed snow in it.  Not packed powder but some sugar skied out man made stuff.   The sun hits this run just after 10am, make sure to hit it up at that time.

Snowmaking is now under way on the Face of Chair 3.  Center Bowl looks to be the main goal at this point.   We will keep you updated on the progress they make over the weekend.

The Unbound Main is set up and ready for a weekend of fun.

Stump Alley is wide open now with a mix of firm groomed snow with some softer surface snow floating around.

Off Piste is looking very, very thin and low tide on what is ridable at this point. Your best bet is to wait for more snow. If you need to get off the groomers try out the Drop Out Chutes. Also to note the top of Cornice is a ice skating rink. Use caution getting into Cornice or the traverse to the Drop Outs.

At this point please pray for snow…. Snowman out!
