Mammoth Snowman Report – 3-1-2017

3-1-2017 – 8AM – Good morning from Mammoth Mountain, clear blue skies have arrived and will be with us into Saturday.

Today into Saturday expect highs in the 30s to low 40s. Winds will be light into Friday with gusts 5-15 MPH.

The weekend looks windy with clear skies on Saturday, and then snow moving in last Saturday night. Sunday will offer snow showers and strong winds.

Snow conditions turned out to be some great powder on Tuesday, today will be a day of transition from the skied out powder to packed out snow conditions.

Up on the hill the base at Main is at the 210-inch mark, with over 350 inches over the top of the mountain. This is the deepest base for this date in time since the ski area began keeping records.

Snowman will be back out on the hill today for a fresh photo and video snow report.

Ski ya later… Snowman out
