Snow Conditions & Base Depth: The runs that are open are a mix of man made and natural snow. The base depth is about 10-30 inches in these areas. The snow surface is a mix of machine groomed packed powder and machine groomed hard pack. Watch for icy spots as the day goes on.

Snowmaking Update: Very cold temps are allowing the ski area to make lot’s and lot’s of fresh snow. Right now crews are working hard on the chair 10 and 4 areas. Guns have also been running on Forest Trail, Fascination and the lower part of the Face of Three.

The snowmaking crews have guns up and running nightly in the Canyon lodge area and the Eagle Lodge areas. Word is they have a goal to open Canyon and Eagle areas by December 16th. Let’s just pray for continued cold nights so they can keep making snow.
