12-26-2016 – 7 AM – Good morning from Mammoth Mountain. All lifts and runs are open on a base of 24 to 150 inches from Little Eagle to the Top.
The weather this week will be clam with clear skies into Thursday.
Highs will be in the 20s today and will slowly rise each today until we hit 40 on Thursday.
Winds will be out of the SW 5-10 MPH at Main and 10-20 MPH over the higher elevations.
By Friday things cool off and cloud up with windy conditions developing. There will also be a slight chance of snow showers on Friday.
At this time it looks like Friday night into Saturday we could see a dusting to several inches of snow. By New Years day we clear out once again. Looks look like a great week for the holiday crowds we have. I expect 20,000 skiers and snow borders out there starting on Tuesday.
Happy New Snow Year to everyone, enjoy the snow if your on the hill this week. Snowman should be back out there starting next week….

12-22-2016 – Snow Report Update
Snow condition: The groomers area great machine groomed packed power with just about all runs getting groomed nightly during the holiday season. Your best bet for fresh groomed is to get in line just before the lifts open.
Off the groomers you will find some nice skier & snowboarder packed out snow. Some area’s are getting a bit firm now but every thing is still very turnable not to firm yet.
Enjoy the holiday season and get ready for lot’s of powder days ahead! Snowman out
