Mammoth Snowman Report – 2-10-2017

2-10-2017 – 5PM – 20-30 inches of fresh snow out on Mammoth Mountain.

Snow conditions are great with all that rain soaked snow now covered up from the new snow.

Conditions today were so much fun, freshies all morning and then some fun tracked up stuff after lunch.

The weekend should be great with fresh snow off the groomers and packed powder on the groomers. Look for fresh powder on 5, 9, 14, 23 and G2.

The weather at this time shows cloudy skies with light to moderate snow still falling here. We have a winter storm warning in effect till 4 Am. Snowfall over night could add up to about 3-5 inches out on the hill.

For Saturday we have now added in a 40% chance of snow showers with North winds 40-50 MPH. By Sunday we clear out and we get NE winds 35-45 MPH over the upper elevations of the hill.

Roads are now R1 in town and up to the Main Lodge, lots of water and slush out there chain up and slow down today.

Snowman is trashed from all todays pow, I will have a full update on Saturday morning after 9 am.

Snow conditions: POWDER – I will have a update for you on Saturday.

Now is the time to make plans to come to Mammoth and see and play in all this snow.

Ski ya later… Snowman out
