12-7-21 9 AM – Who is a Ready for a Winter Reset? Yahoo bring it on…
Last night’s weak system was the first in a series of storms that looks to turn Mammoth and the Eastern Sierra into a Winter Wonderland.
Confidence is high that the area will be in a wetter pattern for the next several weeks.
How much snow the mountain receives is still in question. At this point, it looks like in the worst-case scenario there will be several feet of new snowfall.
For this week there is a system for Wednesday night and Thursday that looks to bring in 5-10 inches of fresh light ratio snow by mid-morning.
After that some of the models we look at have a big AR hook up starting Sunday PM with major snowfall totals into Wednesday. Locals & Travelers better have those snow shovels ready to go.
We will keep you updated daily as the Eastern Sierra moves back into winter mode.
