Mammoth Mountain Snow Report from the Snowman

Hello this is the Snowman with your local’s snow report for Mammoth Mountain on Wednesday, April 12th, 2022 @ 5 PM

Conditions out of the Mill and Main Lodge are in fantastic mid-winter form right now. Expect the same on Thursday and Friday with snow showers in the forecast.

If you’re coming up for the weekend, it looks like there will be a low-end riders of the storm event on Saturday. Only moderate winds are in the forecast, so more lifts should be able to run than the last system that came through.

April is looking to be the winner for most snow since the big month of December. If your looking for winter turns now is the time to come on up, it’s the slow time of year once again.

The base out on Mammoth Mountain at the 9000-foot level is now at 40 inches, up top, the reported base is at 75 inches.

As of now, the plan is to stay open for skiing and snowboarding thru Memorial Day weekend. There is a chance you will be skiing out of Mc Coy station at that point in time.

FYI: April 22nd is the last day to get you’re renewed or brand new Ikon Season Pass for next season. And guess what you can buy one today and hit the slopes right up as they are good starting NOW. Here is the Snowman link to get your Ikon Pass today.
