Mammoth Mountain Snow Report from the Snowman
Hello this is the Snowman with your local’s snow report for Mammoth Mountain on Friday, April 15th, 2022 @ 1:13 PM
Conditions out of the Mill and Main Lodge are in fantastic mid-winter form right now. There is a mix of winter-packed powder with a few spring firm spots. Tons of fun to be had with miles of packed powder groomers early in the morning.
Expect the same on Saturday and Sunday with snowfall and very windy conditions expected on Saturday and then sunny with much less wind on Sunday.
This is the last weekend for mountain-wide skiing and snowboarding. Canyon Lodge and Eagle Lodge will close on Sunday at 4 PM for the season. O and don’t miss the pond skim on Sunday at Canyon Lodge.
The base out on Mammoth Mountain at the 9000-foot level is now at 38 inches, up top the reported base is at 75 inches.
If you’re planning on skiing and riding next Monday into Wednesday expect a return to spring conditions with lifts out of Main Lodge only open.
As of now, the plan is to stay open for skiing and snowboarding thru Memorial Day weekend. There is a chance you will be skiing out of Mc Coy station at that point in time.
FYI: April 22nd is the last day to get you’re renewed or brand new Ikon Season Pass for next season. And guess what you can buy one today and hit the slopes right up as they are good starting NOW. Here is the Snowman link to get your Ikon Pass today.
