Monday 5-16-22 @ 8:51 AM – Good morning, it’s a crystal clear day here in the Eastern Sierra.

If you’re going to be in the area this week expect clear skies with breezy conditions at times above the 8500-foot level.

Temperatures will be above average into mid-week and then a bit of a cool down and then more warming for the weekend.

Mammoth Mountain and the High Country @ 9000 Feet: Highs Monday into Wednesday will be in the upper 50s to low 60s. Winds at the 9000-foot level are expected to be around 5-15 MPH at times.

Over the Top of Mammoth winds will be in the 20-35 MPH range out of the southwest into Tuesday. With calmer winds on Wednesday before there are more breezy conditions on Thursday.

Mammoth Lakes Weather @ 8000 Feet: Expect highs this week in the mid-60s to low 70s with overnight lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Crowley to Toms Place: Highs will be in the low 70s. Night times lows will be in the low to mid-40s. Winds are expected to be 5-10 MPH with gusts to 20 MPH. Look for a possible uptick in winds on Thursday down on the Lake.

Mill Pond to Bishop: Highs will be warm with the upper 80s to low 90s during the afternoon hours. Mornings will be perfect in the 70s after nighttime lows in the low to mid-50s.
