Record Breaking Winter 22/2023 Snowpack Photos – Mammoth Mountain Ski Area

These photos capture the massive recording breaking snow pack out on Mammoth Mountain as of Friday, March 24th, 2023.

The current base at Main Lodge is around 285 inches with over 82 inches of precipitation over the full season. Up top, the base is at 340 inches with over 800 inches of snowfall over the season.

All that snow and water amounts to a record-breaking snowpack and record-breaking snowfall amounts. The years 1969 and 1983 brought in the most precipitation in the past and they have now been passed by almost 10 inches of water.

Photos taken and edited in Photoshop by the Mammoth Snowman Steve Taylor.
