January 2017 – 20 Feet in 23 Days at the Snowman Cabin @ 8175 feet.

This first image was from New Years Eve, it was when we first realized we might be in for an epic month long dumper. This chart shows area of the Sierra would get 320 inches of snow for the 1st tens days  of the month. Snowman was in shock when he saw this.

January 4th, 2017 – A great day at Snowman Cabin the snow was the highest it had been since we lived at this location.

January 12th, 2017 – I awoke to some light and dry snow falling. What a total surprise after all the heavy wet snow we had to start the winter. I got first track over on 15 for a couple runs and then I ventured over to see if 22 was open. I could hear people cheering down below so I checked it out and 22 had opened. The video below recaps that moring perfectly.

January 16th, 2017 – After massive amounts of snow we got a break. The mountain was looking great for this sunny photo snow report’s. Met some awesome Snowman fans on this day!
