Footloose Sports Can Fix Your Ski Boot Pain
If you have ever experienced ski boot pain, then I can totally relate to how much that can ruin a day of skiing.
When Snowman was 17 in 1981, my feet hurt so badly that I was ready to give up on skiing.
Luckily, around that time, I learned about Footloose Sports in Mammoth Lakes. They had developed the new Superfeet Kork orthotic.
I was told the Superfeet Kork is designed to enhance the fit and performance of ski boots. Therefore, it stabilizes the foot and alleviates much of the pain associated with an ill-fitting ski boot.
It took a couple of tries, but I ended up with an ultra-custom Kork bed orthotic and no more foot pain. My knees even stopped hurting after a day of skiing.
For the 2018-2019 Season, K2 gave me new Recon Ski Boots. The first thing I did was take them to Kevin at Footloose, and he made me a brand new pair of KORK orthotics.
Since 1983, I can say with a smile that I have skied pain-free on a daily basis. My advice is that if you have boot pain or need new ski boots, take a trip to Mammoth Lakes and work with Corty and his famous boot-fitting staff.
Over the years, I have sent several thousand people to Footloose for boot fitting, and everyone tells me they love the work that gets done.
You can call them at 760-934-2400 to set up an appointment or visit the Footloose website to learn more about their boot fitting program.
