Mammoth Mountain Snow Report Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021 

That’s a wrap on the 2020-2021 Winter Season. We ended up well below normal snowfall-wise with the season being the third driest water year in the last 100 years. 

The one main series of storms we got happened later in January and Mammoth Mountain picked up a whopping 100+ inches of snow in just a few days. That was a fun week and was a good reminder of what’s to come again during the next big winter when it snows for weeks on end. 

Snowman had a pretty light season dealing with some back pain that was getting set off by the firm snow conditions. I did a lot of pt and bike riding trying to heal up in Bishop. 

I want to thank everyone who confirmed the current snow conditions out on the hill when I could not get out. You were a major help to our snowman community and to me.

Also, I really want to give cheers to all the Mammoth Mountain crews, they did an amazing job keeping us all safe this season.  And to the grooming and snowmaking crew, yikes you pulled off the impossible.
